IGA was established in 1987 and has existed in its current form since 2005, when it was acquired by Rene Jansen, an experienced logistics professional with a background in logistics and general management.
With a head office in Meer, Belgium, close to the borders with Belgium and The Netherlands, the company is ideally located to serve continental Europe. An additional distribution facility in St Albans serves the UK market.
IGA was originally established by Bob Reijner and Wojteck Kubasiewicz, who successfully built the business to an international company serving European markets on a daily basis. This grounding has enabled the development of a solid base for business across Europe, built on established relationships and a personal approach.
The recent strategic direction of the company has led to its current position as a leading independent European glass distributor, however the company’s ambition does not stop there, by thinking globally, but acting locally, IGA aim to become the best and most service oriented glass distributor in Europe.
