Below you will find a brief summary of all the glass types we supply. In addition to this we have contacts all over the world that can source any type of glass you are looking for.
Float

Clear glass can be processed for use in numerous sectors, including the construction, decoration, automotive and high-tech industries. Available in a wide range of thicknesses, our float glass can be processed to create insulated glass units, laminated glass, toughened glass, screen-printed glass, etched glass, sandblasted glass, edge-worked and painted glass. Applications range from furniture to all-glass structural facades..
Our Product range: Clear - Linea Azzurra - Extra Clear (Low Iron) - Tinted float bronze/grey/green/blue
Silvered Float

Silvered float supplied by IGA is a third generation glass that has made significant progress in terms of the quality, ecology, resistance, handling and performance of mirrors. It contains no copper, no formaldehyde and is is ROHS compliant (< 0,1% lead) . The glass is of exceptionally high quality and is known for its durability and has a better resistance to corrosion.
Our Product range: Silvered float - Tinted silvered float - One way mirror (spymirror)
Low E

Buildings need to satisfy a wide variety of requirements, in particular relating to thermal insulation. Conventional glass wastes too much energy, therefore special solutions are required when it comes to efficient glazing for commercial and domestic projects.
Utilising a highly effective Low-E coating enables the combination of low heat insulating values , a high transmittance factor and solar energy gain. We offer energy-efficient solutions for every job. Our selection of Low E coated glasses meet economic, ecological and aesthetic criteria - without wasting energy.
Our Product range: Hard coated Low E, Soft coated Low E/Laminated Low E
Extra Clear

Extra clear glass is known for its attractive appearance and optical qualities. The low iron content in the glass produces a higher light transmittance and a reduced green tint inherent in other glasses.
Excellent clarity ensures true colours are seen and optimum visual quality is achieved when looking through the glass.
Our Product Range: Extra clear float 4 to 19 mm
Acid Etched

Acid Etched glass can be used to enhance all areas of the home. Produced by acid etching one face of a piece of clear glass, it has a distinctive, uniformly smooth and satin-like appearance. As a translucent product, it admits light whilst still providing obscuration and vision control.
Thanks to its satin-smooth surface the glass does not mark with dirt and fingerprints, as readily as traditional etched and sandblasted glasses, providing a low maintenance product.
Our Product Range: Acid Etched 4 to 19 mm - Acid etched on tinted float 4 to 10/12 mm - Acid Etched on extra clear Float 4 to 12 mm
Wired
Our wired range offers clear glasses, with or without a patterned structure and with an integrated wire mesh . The integrated metal mesh holds the glass in place if the glass is broken . Wired glasses can be used internally and externally to provide the benefit of their flame-retardant properties.
The range also includes clear polished wired glass.
Our Product Range: GWRC 6/7 mm - GWPP safety 6/7 mm
Patterned
Patterned Glass features a design created by rolling the hot glass ribbon between two metal rollers. The type of design and its structure determine the level of translucence of the glass. A wide variety odf designs are available, offering aesthetic and privacy options.
Our Product range: Every patterned glass on the market today
Laminated Glass

Laminated security glasses provides safety and protection thanks to the in built PVB (polyvinylbutyral) interlayer. The interlayer keeps the glass splinters in place when broken.

The level of protection depends on the number and thickness of the PVB interlayers used in the laminated glass.
This function is strongly recommended for glass used in windows, roofing, flooring, balustrades, banisters etc.
Our Product Range: All thicknesess with single or multiple pvb,s
Our PVB range also includes opal, acoustic and tinted pvb,s
Solar Control

Modern architecture places the highest demands on the component materials, in terms of aesthetics as well as technology. With solar control glass, architects and planners can create high end designs without having to abandon transparency and a captivating visual appearance.
With solar control glass façade glazing, plenty of daylight can enter a room. At the same time, the low total solar energy transmittance (g-value) ensures energy savings in conjunction with the operation of air conditioning devices.
The unique qualities of solar control glazing is achieved by means of a precious metal coating. It is applied to the inner side of the outer pane of glass within a double glazed unit and is thus protected from the environment and mechanical damage.
Our Product Range: Solar Reflective glass like: platin 25/15 - sky 30/17 - shine 40/22 - platin 47/29 - neutral 48/27 - neutral 50/27 - neutral 60/33 - neutral 61/33 - neutral 68/37 - neutral 70/39 - neutral 73/42. Some solar reflective glasses are also available as toughenable glass
