DGU Domestic
Soft coated Low E for Insulation
Soft coated insulating glasses that can cut energy losses to one fifth the level of ordinary single glazing. These new-generation thermal insulating glasses help reduce emissions of CO2, in line with the commitments made under the Kyoto protocol. We offer Low E glass up to a U value of 1.0. and have a variety of products available that will comply with the new Energy rating in the UK. We offer also a Low E glass that can be toughened.
Hard-coated, low-emissivity glass
Hard coated Low E especially for use in single and double glazing. Prized for its ease of use : toughenable, no edge stripping needed, long shelf life, very hard coating, it also performs aesthetically due to its neutral appearance, good light transmission and low light reflection. We have a variety of products available that will comply with the new Energy rating in the UK, including the new Planibel A.

DGU Commercial
Solar reflective glass
Solar control glass façade glazing enables plenty of daylight to enter the room, yet at the same time, the extremely low total solar energy transmittance (g-value) ensures energy savings in the operation of air conditioning devices.
IGA is also the exclusive agent for Versalux USA. Versalux Float Glass is especially known for its blue float glass Versalux Blue and Versalux Blue RC, also known as Ford Blue and Ford Blue Reflective. Visteon has recently developed a new range under the name "Versalux 2000", which consists of blue, green and grey shades, Versalux Blue 2000, Versalux Green 2000 and Versalux Grey 2000 all characterised by very high absorption of solar energy.
Versalux Blue 2000 RC and Versalux Green 2000 RC are also available in a reflective version. Visteon also offers a special version of the Blue 2000 glass with a reflective titanium-based coating: Versalux Blue 2000 T. The reflective coating is pyrolithic, which means that the glass can be hardened, coated, curved, etc.

Automotive
The basic requirement of automotive glass is to provide a clear and undistorted view of the road and the surroundings. Though taken for granted, this requires a very high level of technology.
With the evolution in automobile design, the area occupied by automotive glass is steadily growing, with acurved streamline shape currently being the standard.
However, bending glass is like creating a lens and may distort the view through the glass. The ability to provide an undistorted view no matter how complex the shape of the object is the most important factor in the automotive glass market.
