IGA NV and Interpane Glas Industrie AG are delighted to announce that we have agreed upon a distribution partnership for the UK. This partnership will be for the distribution of all float glass products that Interpane offers in LES and Jumbo sizes. Interpane will continue focussing on the project market in the UK.
IGA is an independent glass wholesale company with several warehouses throughout Europe. Based upon a one stop shopping concept and just in time deliveries, IGA supplies a wide range of float glass products. Interpane Glas Industrie AG is one of Europe's important flat glass processors. The company was founded in 1971 by Georg F. Hesselbach and has its headquarters in Lauenforde, Germany. At eleven production facilities throughout Europe, Interpane manufactures high-quality glass products. In addition, Interpane produces float glass at the Seingbouse facility in France.
Mr. Rene Jansen, managing director of IGA said: "We are happy with the world-class products that Interpane has to offer which we will exclusively distribute in the UK. We see an interesting change from hard coat low E glass to (toughenable) soft coat low E. We now have an excellent product range for serving this growing market. Besides full direct loads from the factory we are able to provide an additional mix load service from our Dunstable based warehouse."
